Just like any whitening product, it works best on extrinsic staining resulting from food, drinks or tobacco products. Not all teeth reach the same level of whiteness. Your existing fillings, crowns, bridges and veneers will not whiten. For best results, whitening should be done after a dental exam and cleaning.
